New Delhi: Famous TV star Swapnil Joshi will soon be seen in the Marathi film ‘Jilbi’, in which he will be seen in an interesting role. Giving information about his character, he said that he will be seen in the role of an encounter specialist in ‘Jilbi’. Swapnil Joshi said, ‘The world of police will be seen for the first time in Marathi cinema through Jilbi. In the film, I play the role of an encounter specialist, who seems tough on the surface, but there are many more layers inside him, which are not immediately visible.
The actor said, “‘Jilbi’ has truth as well as entertainment. The story of the film has been set in Marathi environment, hence it will be liked by the audience of all generations. It is a deeply emotional story, but it has been shot like a thriller. ‘Jilbi’ will remind the audience of cult classics like ‘Satya’ and ‘Company’.
It was special to be associated with Anand Pandit
Swapnil Joshi also talked about his experience of working with producer Anand Pandit on this project. The actor said, ‘Working with him was a pleasant experience. He likes to support projects with new stories that will appeal to audiences across the country.
Swapnil Joshi told that ‘Jilbi’ has been an extraordinary journey for him as an actor. The actor said, ‘Jilbi’s story has been written very well and it has given me the kind of sharp dialogue and wit that we don’t hear in mainstream cinema anymore. I am very excited for the release of the film and to see the audience’s response to our hard work and can’t wait. Producer Anand Pandit also expressed his curiosity and said, ‘This is a very unique police film, which will prove to be genre defining.’

Along with Swapnil Joshi, Prasad Oak, Shivani Surve, Ganesh Yadav, Parna Pethe, Pranav Ravarane, Ashwini Chavre, Rajesh Kamble, Dilip Karade and Aditya Bhalerao will also be seen in lead roles in ‘Jilbi’. ‘Jilbi’ is directed by Nitin Kamble and Amar Mohile has composed the background score for the film. Sadiq Iqbal has edited the film and Ganesh Utekar has handled the camera work.
