UP STF on Tuesday DEl.Ed. Two criminals who leaked the exam paper have been arrested from Iglas police station area of ​​Aligarh. Both are real brothers and have been identified as Dharmendra Kumar and Pushpendra Kumar.

Actually, on November 2, Uttar Pradesh Police had received a screenshot in which paper leak was claimed. After this the police investigated in which two people were arrested.

Used to sell papers through social media

After the arrest, the police interrogated the accused for several hours. The mobile and laptop found in his possession were thoroughly examined in which many social media groups were found. Hundreds of people are involved in these. Papers were leaked through these groups.

Records of transactions worth Rs 1 lakh were also found from the phones of the accused. It was also revealed that they used to extort more money from the candidates on the pretext of passing them. The cyber team is examining the mobile data so that the deleted files can be recovered.

Accused Dharmendra works as a teacher in a private school. In this, along with his brother Pushpendra, he created an account on Telegram with a fake name and carried out such paper leaks.

Continuous paper leaks in UP, government did not learn lesson

Year 2021 – Uttar Pradesh Teachers Eligibility Test was to be held on Sunday in November 2021, but before that, news of its paper leak came. After this the examination of both the shifts was cancelled.

The Education Minister of UP had announced that this examination will be conducted again within a month. For this, candidates will not have to pay any additional fees.

STF had arrested 26 people in this case, out of which 16 people were arrested from Prayagraj.

Year 2022 – UP Board 12th English paper was to be held on March 30, 2022 but the paper got leaked even before the exam. After this the exam was canceled in 24 districts.

Year 2024 – In December 2023, there was recruitment of 67 thousand constables in Uttar Pradesh Police. The recruitment was released after five years, hence for this, candidates were given a relaxation of five years in the age limit.

48 lakh candidates filled its application and its exam was held in February 2024. This paper was also leaked, after which the alleged mastermind of the paper leak was arrested in April.

Year 2024 – The RO/ARO recruitment exam conducted by Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission i.e. UPPSC was held in February 2024. Its notification was issued in 2023.

Even before the start of this exam, a complaint was received about the paper going viral on social media. After this, this exam was canceled and its investigation was handed over to UP STF.

According to the statement of STF, the paper was leaked on the morning of 11th February from the exam center Bishop Johnson Girls School and College, Prayagraj. Along with this, during investigation it was suspected that the paper might have been leaked from somewhere other than the exam centre.

When information was taken about the printing press, it was found that the paper was printed from Bhopal.

Year 2025- UP Board had Maths paper on 1st March. On the same day, Anju Yadav, center administrator of Chaudhary BL Inter College, Etah, posted the question paper in the official examination WhatsApp group in the morning. This happened within an hour of the paper starting. After this, the paper was removed from the WhatsApp group and an FIR was immediately registered against Anju Yadav.

Seven fake candidates were also arrested in the UP Board examination, including three from Etah, two from Moradabad and one each from Azamgarh-Kanpur. An FIR was also lodged against a room inspector, three center administrators and 14 others on charges of copying. A total of FIRs have been registered against 25 people in different districts regarding board exams.

Student committed suicide due to paper leak

Brijesh Pal had given the UP Police recruitment paper in February 2024. This was his last attempt. He was hopeful that he would get a job this time, but the paper got leaked. It seemed as if the news of paper leak broke Brijesh’s last hope. He said to his father, ‘Papa, now it will not be ours, the paper has been leaked. Now our time has run out. Nothing can happen now.

At around 10 pm in the night, 27-year-old Brijesh took out a matchbox from his pocket in Bhudpurva village of Kannauj in Uttar Pradesh and set his degree on fire. After this Brijesh hanged himself in his room.

Actually, Brijesh was preparing for a government job for seven years. This time it was his last attempt, but the constable recruitment paper in UP Police was leaked and the exam was cancelled.
