Harsimrat Pal Singh Bedijandyala Guru, 28 December Amritsar rural police have arrested two main accused after solving the robbery case in the branch of HDFC Bank located in Nawan village near here. District Police Chief Rural Charanjit Singh informed that one lakh rupees, one .32 bore revolver, five cartridges, two mobile phones and a vehicle were recovered from the robbers. The SSP said that on December 20, a robbery of Rs 3,96,340 was carried out by showing a revolver at HDFC Bank Branch Nawan village Jandiala Guru. Acting immediately on the complaint of the branch manager in this case, the team of SHO Jandiala Guru and the CIA staff under the leadership of SPD Harinder Singh Gill have traced and arrested the accused who carried out the incident. The accused have been identified as Lovepreet Singh son of Meher Singh resident of village Sarhali Khurd district Tarn Taran and Gurnur Singh son of Gurdev Singh resident of village Kalla district Tarn Taran.
