When asked in which field his father asked him to move forward or make a career, the singer said, ‘My father used to ask me to do something big and make pride, but not in music. He used to tell me to be an engineer, be a doctor. But, my mother used to tell me to do something in music.

Keeping his point further, he said, ‘After hard work, I am getting offers for many songs and they have got success in performing better. Today, whatever God has given me, God should give everyone the same, but I have worked hard for the way you are seeing me today. Udit Narayan gave voice to the song ‘Papa Keh’ from Juhi Chawla-Aamir Khan starrer romantic film ‘Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak’, which came in 1988. The song not only played an important role in the success of the film, but also made Udit Narayan a glowing star of the music industry.
Udit Narayan Jha started singing from a young age. After starting his career with the film Nepali, he made his Bollywood debut in ‘Unnainable-New’. However, his luck changed from Aamir Khan’s film.
