Guterres said further delays in providing additional officers or support to police forces in many countries trying to curb gang violence risked a catastrophic collapse of national security institutions. Said that this could give the gangs an opportunity to take over the entire area and spread chaos. We must immediately do everything possible to prevent such a situation from happening again.
