Candidates who clear Mains will now proceed for the interview round.
Union Public Service Commission i.e. UPSC has declared the results of Civil Services Examination (CSE) Mains 2024. Candidates who appeared for the exam can check their results on the official website upsc.gov.in. Candidates who clear Mains will now proceed for the interview round.
DAF form can be filled from 13 to 19 December
All the candidates who have passed Mains will now have to go through the interview round. All these candidates will fill a Detailed Application Form (DAF) from 13th December to 19th December. On the basis of this, he will be interviewed in UPSC, Delhi. UPSC will announce the interview dates soon on the official website.
In the notice issued by the Commission, it has also been said that the candidates who are not able to download their e-summon letters should immediately contact the Commission’s office through letter or by connecting on phone numbers 011-23385271, 011-23381125, 011-23098543. should contact. Apart from this, candidates can contact the Commission through fax numbers 011-23387310, 011-23384472 and e-mail csm-upsc@nic.in. No paper summon letter for interview will be issued by the Commission through post.
Marksheet will be released after the final result
After the interview, the marksheets of all the candidates will be uploaded on the website of the Commission within 15 days from the date of release of the final result. It will be available on the website for 30 days.
Recruitment will be done on 1056 posts
This time UPSC is going to recruit a total of 1056 posts including Indian Foreign Service (IFS), Indian Administrative Service (IAS) and Indian Police Service (IPS). In this, 40 seats are reserved for disabled category candidates. (A) 6 posts for candidates with blindness and low vision; (B) 12 posts for deaf and hard of hearing candidates; (C) 9 posts for persons with locomotor disability including cerebral palsy, leprosy, dwarfism, acid attack victims and muscular dystrophy; And (D) 13 posts are vacant for candidates with multiple disabilities including deafness-blindness.
Prelims exam was held on 16th June
UPSC had released the notification of UPSC CSE 2024 on 14 February 2024. The last date to apply for this was March 5, 2024. The date of Prelims exam was on June 16, 2024. The prelims were earlier scheduled to be held on 26 May, which was postponed due to clash with the Lok Sabha elections.
Mains exam started from 20th September
UPSC CSE exam is conducted in three stages: Pre, Mains and Interview. After Prelims on June 16, 2024, Mains exam was held on September 20, 21, 22, 28 and 29, 2024.
