Uttarakhand Subordinate Services Selection Commission i.e. UKSSSC has postponed the recruitment examination for technical posts in the Agriculture Department. This exam was to be held on Sunday 12th October. Before the examination was conducted, the candidates were alleging that the examination paper was leaked. In such a situation, the Commission decided to cancel the examination a day before.

UKSSSC Chairman G.S. Martolia said, ‘The examination to be held on October 12 for technical posts of the Agriculture Department has been postponed. The Commission has not even started the process of issuing admit cards for this examination, hence this examination will not be held on the scheduled date.

Around 600 candidates were to appear in UKSSSC Agriculture Officer Exam. This examination was to be conducted for recruitment to 25 posts.

The exam held on 21st September was also canceled

20 days after the UKSSSC paper leak scandal, the Commission has now canceled the examination held on 21st September. The single-member inquiry commission formed by the government to investigate this matter had submitted its report to CM Dhami, a few hours after which the UKSSSC has issued a notification and canceled this examination.

The exam was also canceled on 5th October

Earlier, the examination for 45 posts of Cooperative Inspector (Class-II) and Assistant Development Officer (Cooperative), scheduled to be held on October 5, was also postponed. The Commission had said that this decision has been taken on the request of the candidates and to further strengthen the examination preparations.

The Chairman of the Commission says that new dates for the postponed examinations will be announced soon.

Recently graduate level recruitment was also canceled

UKSSSC started the exam for graduate level recruitment on 21st September at 11 am. The exam was to be held by 1 o’clock. But at 11:30 the paper got leaked, three pages of which were out on WhatsApp.

After this the movement started across the state. For a long time, people of the unemployed organization sat on strike outside the Parade Ground in Dehradun. Then CM Pushkar Singh Dhami reached the protest site to meet the students after about 8 days and talked about a CBI investigation.

After investigation, when the commission submitted the report to CM Dhami, a few hours later the government submitted the report to UKSSAC. And then on the basis of this report UKSSAC canceled the exam.
