Virat Kohli breaks another record, leaves all legends behind, now Sachin Tendulkar on target

In the third match against Australia, Virat Kohli overtook former Sri Lanka captain Kumar Sangakkara for the most runs in ODI cricket.

Virat Kohli achieved another important milestone in the Sydney ODI. Prior to the start of this match, he was third on the list of highest run-scorers in ODI cricket, moving up to second place. Kohli achieved this feat by surpassing Sri Lanka’s Kumar Sangakkara.

India’s legendary batsman Sachin Tendulkar holds the record for scoring the most runs in ODI cricket. Known as the God of Cricket, this master blaster scored 18,436 runs in 452 ODIs. Kumar Sangakkara of Sri Lanka has scored 14,234 runs in 380 ODIs. Virat Kohli achieved this feat in his 293rd ODI.
