Voting has started for 85 wards and 5 municipal councils of the district in Amritsar

The work of voting in 85 wards of Amritsar Municipal Corporation and five municipal councils of the district is going on continuously. However, the pace of polling in the morning is slow. Due to extreme cold, people are currently not leaving their homes. Meanwhile, Deputy Commissioner Madam Sakshi Sahni has inspected some polling booths. He said that 9 percent polling was done in Amritsar till 9 am. There was 12 percent voter turnout in Ajnala and 10 percent voter turnout in Baba Bakala. Pink polling centers have also been set up in some places. The Deputy Commissioner has also visited these centers.
