Sridevi’s mother asked me for Rs 10 lakh, I offered her Rs 11 lakh. She was a top star.

Boney Kapoor further said, ‘We were shooting in a bungalow in Ruia Park. So I went to Chennai to meet his mother. We began to talk. He did not know Hindi or English.
