Congress leader Shashi Tharoor had a strange experience today when a monkey sitting at home came and hugged him. After this, when bananas were given to him, he ate them and fell asleep with his head on the Congress MP’s chest. Sharing some pictures in this regard on X, Tharoor said, ‘Today was a unique experience. This morning while I was sitting in my garden reading the newspapers, a monkey came towards me and sat right on my lap. When we gave him two bananas, he ate them and fell asleep with his head on my chest.’ He said, ‘I started to get up slowly, then he jumped and ran.’ Tharoor said that he has great respect for wildlife. In the pictures shared by Tharoor, the monkey is seen sitting on his lap, eating bananas and sleeping. People made different comments on these pictures. -PTI
