In a major blow to Pakistan, the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) captured a Pakistan Army post on Monday. This incident is considered very important in view of the ongoing conflict on the border of Pakistan and Afghanistan for the past few days.
It is being claimed that Taliban fighters have captured a military post of Pakistan Army in Bajor district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province near the Afghan border. Not only this, more than 15 people have also been killed in the firing.
In a video that is rapidly going viral on social media, Taliban fighters can be seen celebrating with weapons at a Pakistani checkpoint. They took down the flag of Pakistan from the army post and also hoisted the flag of TTP.

Such repeated failures happen mainly because #PakistanArmy is too busy playing politics & oppressing citizens of the country while not doing its actual job on the borders of Pakistan pic.twitter.com/7vt2KzCEHq

Afghanistan’s Defense Ministry said on December 28 that its forces had carried out strikes at several locations inside Pakistan in response to deadly airstrikes in the country last week. On December 23, Pakistan launched an operation against insurgents in Afghanistan’s eastern Paktika province and destroyed a training center. Many people, mostly women and children, were killed in Pakistan’s airstrikes.
It was being used in comments posted on it by the Taliban’s Ministry of Defense. Hurriyat Daily News, a pro-Taliban media organization, quoted ministry sources as saying that 19 Pakistani soldiers were killed in the attacks and three Afghan civilians were also killed in the violence.
