Kapal Kriya, Pinddan etc. are performed along with the cremation or last rites of the deceased. Ganga Jali is worshiped in Davadsagatra. The holy water of the Ganga is sprinkled in the house. On the next day, Trayodashi day, a communal meal is served to thirteen Brahmins, respectable people, relatives and community members.
