Sherfane Rutherford’s first ODI century helped West Indies break their 11-match losing streak against Bangladesh and register a five-wicket win.

In St Kitts, the Caribbean team achieved the target of 295 runs and took a 1-0 lead in the three-match series. The hero of the victory was Rutherford, who after a slow start led the team to victory by scoring 113 runs in 80 balls. He was chosen player of the match.

West Indies once needed 161 runs from 114 balls, but achieved the target with 14 balls remaining.
