The 2022 Women’s World Cup played in New Zealand fetched a prize money of US$ 3.5 million, which is approximately ₹ 31 crore in Indian currency. This World Cup is offering four times more prize money than the previous edition.
The 2025 Women’s World Cup will have more prize money than the 2023 Men’s ODI World Cup. Australia won the 2023 Men’s One Day World Cup, which was played in India and earned 10 million US dollars (approximately 89 crores) in Indian currency.
