A woman died in a road accident near village Bhotna on the Barnala-Moga national highway. Giving information in this regard, Manjot Singh, the son of the deceased, said that he was going back to his home in Barnala by riding a motorcycle from Himmatpura with his mother Manjit Kaur. When they neared village Bhotna, a speeding tipper hit their motorcycle due to which his mother’s head fell under the tipper and she was seriously injured and died on the way to Barnala Government Hospital. . Talewal Police Station Assistant Police Station Birbal Singh said that based on the statement of the dead woman’s son, further action is being taken by filing a case against the tipper driver Iqbal Singh.
