Seeing the opportunity of easy earning, the woman got caught in this trap and started completing the task. Initially, he was asked to like a video link and then asked to join the Telegram Group for the further task. After completing some tasks, earnings were shown in the fake account of the woman, which made her believe that she was really earning money.

Subsequently, the thugs persuaded him to invest to earn more money. The woman initially sent Rs 1.5 lakh to several different bank accounts. Gradually, he was motivated to deposit more money and eventually cheated Rs 5.69 lakh. Scammers showed fake profit on a fake app and assured him that his money is increasing.

But when the woman tried to withdraw her earnings, the thugs made a new rule in which her score was necessary to reach 100 points. To withdraw money, he was asked for Rs 5 lakh more, which made him suspicious. Then he told his family about this and lodged a complaint with Chandigarh Cyber ​​Crime Police Station. According to the police, this scam is being operated through fake profiles and shell accounts, which is making it difficult for criminals to find out.
