PNRC Registrar at Bhai Gurdas College Dr. Puneet Girdhar conducted a special workshop on ‘Quality Nursing Educating the Educators’. Principals and teachers of more than 20 government and private colleges of Sangrur and Barnala district participated in it. Apart from Civil Surgeon, DFPOs and SMOs, officials related to health care institutions of Sangrur Barnala also participated. The event was started by Shabad Gayan and Chairman of Bhai Gurdas Group and Chairman of Infotech Punjab. Candle lighting was done by Guninderjit Singh Jawandha. On this occasion Baljinder Kaur Jawandha Secretary Bhai Gurdas College and Suvereet Kaur Jawandha MD Bhai Gurdas were also present.
Deputy Commissioner Sandeep Rishi arrived as the chief guest in the workshop. He fully appreciated the efforts of PNRC and Bhai Gurdas College. Lt. Col. (Dr.) Sarabjit Kaur, Secretary, Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi participated as the keynote speaker.
On this occasion, Dr. Punjab Nursing Council Mohali. Punit Giridhar, Rahul Sharma Corporate Leader IIT Kanpur, Dr. Davinder Kaur Principal Gyan Sagar Banur, Dr. Balwinder Kaur Principal Government Nursing College Patiala, Dr. Bharat Parik Principal Saraswati College Ropar, Sukhwinder Kaur Vice President TNAI also expressed views. Chairman Jawandha said that due to such a workshop, more development opportunities will be created in the nursing sector.
