- Wrestling Association Shifted To Brij Bhushan Sharan’s House Again

The office of Wrestling Federation of India has again shifted without informing to the old address i.e. residence of Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh at 21, Ashoka Road, Delhi. The issue of running the wrestling federation’s office from home had gained momentum after women wrestlers accused former WFI President Brij Bhushan Singh in 2023. After which the office of WFI was shifted to a rented house in Hari Nagar.
According to Indian Express, the office of WFI has been shifted to 21 Ashoka Road since June last year. This house is now in the name of his MP son. Whereas, the address of Hari Nagar is still there on the WFI website. At the same time, WFI President Sanjay Singh has said that the office is in Hari Nagar only.
According to the newspaper, the property advisor’s office is at the website address. Nearby tenants told that WFI had moved from here to Ashoka Road several months ago. After WFI came here, one or two office staff came here with computers and some files. He used to come here sometimes and sometimes some people also came to meet him. But within a few months WFI left from here. There used to be a WFI board at the entrance of the building. Now there is not even a board here.
In 2024, the board of WFI was installed in the office located in Harinagar.
In 2025, the board of WFI was removed from the office located in Harinagar.
Women wrestlers had complained at Connaught Place Police Station on 21 April 2023. On April 21, 2023, letters in the names of 6 people were received addressed to the SHO of Connaught Place, New Delhi. Among these 6 names were the names of many well-known wrestling players. All these complainants had then accused WFI President Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh and his secretary Vinod Tomar of sexual exploitation.
In these complaint letters, sexual exploitation was found on different occasions in the last 8 to 9 years. Later a case was registered against Brijbhushan Singh. Even now the hearing in this matter is going on in the court.
Brij Bhushan said, the office is running in Harinagar only, search for new place continues Former President of the Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) and former MP from Kaiserganj, Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh has clarified the situation on the ongoing dispute regarding the office of the Wrestling Association. He said that currently the office of WFI is located in Harinagar, where due to lack of space, a new location is being searched.
