DeepMind CEO on AI: As the world is growing rapidly towards Artificial Intelligence (AI), CEO Damis Hasbis of Google Deepmind has given a clear message to the youth, especially adolescents-“Now learn or regret in future.” Google Deepmind, which is the most advanced lab in Google in the field of AI and developing smart chatbots like Gemini, is now moving rapidly towards AGI i.e. “Artificial General Intelligence” that is a technology that can gain understanding and decision -making ability.
Warning in tech podcast
Recently on Google I/O Developer Conference and a famous Tech Podcast ‘Hard Fork’, Hasbis said that AI can change the face of the world’s jobs in the next 5 to 10 years. He believes that the Internet replaced Millennials and the smartphone will be identified by Gen Z, Genna Alpha (Gen Alpha) will be identified with generative AI.
“Understanding AI is as important for today’s youth as it was to learn computers,” he said. He urged the students to play, use AI tools and make themselves technical ‘ninja’. But only technical knowledge is not enough. According to Hasbis, the strong foundation of Stem (science, technology, engineering, mathematics) as well as creativity, flexibility and rapidly changing conditions is also necessary. He also said, “AI can eliminate many traditional jobs but will also lead to new and more interesting jobs. But only those opportunities will be able to take advantage of those opportunities which are ready from now.”
AI will change the future of students
In the rapidly changing scenario of AI, Hasbis suggests that students use their free time to understand and use new AI tools so that when they leave college, they are not only a degree but also ready for the real world. Their last message is straightforward: AI is not the future, the present. And those who adopt it soon, they will be at the forefront of this new world.
