Bharatiya Youth Congress today launched the 5th edition of its flagship program ‘Young India Ke Bol’ through a press conference here. On this occasion, National President of Indian Youth Congress, Uday Bhanu Chibb and National AICC in-charge of NSUI, Kanhaiya Kumar launched the poster of this program and appealed to the youth across the country to join this program. Mr. Kanhaiya Kumar said that the Youth Congress constantly struggles on the issues of the youth of the country. He said that we are also doing many creative programs on how to change the conditions of the youth of the country and how to solve their problems. He said that ‘Young India Ke Bol’ is a platform for youth across the country to express their views and connect with us. In this forum, the youth will present their views against unemployment. Today the youth in the country do not have employment. The situation is that even IIT-IIM students are not getting employment. He also said that India is the youngest country in the world. 55 percent of the population is youth, every fifth youth in the world is Indian. India was never so young. Two youths are committing suicide here in an hour. Youth suicides have surpassed the rate of farmer suicides. On one hand an educated youth does not have a job worth Rs 5000, on the other hand Rs 5000 crore is being spent on another youth’s marriage. Under a conspiracy, these youths are being forced into drugs. National president Uday Bhanu Chib said the BJP had promised to provide 2 crore jobs every year to tackle unemployment, but the reality is that in the last decade since the Modi government came to power in 2014, among the candidates who applied did, only 0.3 percent got a government job. That means only 3 out of 1,000 applicants got a permanent government job. He said that in 2022, Minister of State Jitinder Singh admitted in Parliament that out of 22 crore applications received by the government since 2014, only 22,311 candidates were appointed.
