New rules will be applicable from March 19

There is traffic of online gambling sites in crores
A large number of people visit online gambling sites in India every month. A report by the Digital India Foundation states that through advertisements on social media platforms, four illegal gambling sites have recorded around 4.3 crore visits in three months. Apart from this, more than 100 crore visits have been recorded on these sites through direct URL.
