BJP has set a target of recruiting at least 15 lakh membership in Punjab, of which 8 lakh membership has been reached so far. This was expressed by BJP State Secretary Kanwarveer Singh Tohra while addressing the media in Dhaka today. He had reached here to submit the active membership form to the party’s Patiala District South President Harmesh Goyal. It is to be mentioned that the recruitment campaign of BJP is going on in Punjab on a large scale and for those BJP members who have to become active members in the party, it is necessary to apply for active membership on the list of at least 50 ordinary members. . This is a provision to submit the application and the list to the district presidents. In such a situation, the state secretary of the party Tohra handed over his active membership form to the district president Goyal. According to Secretary Tohra, the campaign of active membership is a powerful medium to convey the principles and ideology of the BJP to the people. It is to be noted that although the general recruitment fee of BJP is zero, but the fee for active politics membership in the party is fixed at Rs 100. Meanwhile, party workers under the leadership of Harmesh Goyal also honored State Secretary Tohra.
