Afghanistan defeated Pakistan by 18 runs in the Tri-series T20 match played in Sharjah. This victory was very special for Afghan players amidst the recent tragedy in our country. In the team’s victory, batsman Ibrahim Jadaran and Sidikullah Atal’s 113 -run partnership and then the deadly bowling of spin bowlers played an important role.

Afghanistan, batting first, scored 169 runs at the loss of 5 wickets. At the same time, the Pakistani team, which came out to chase the target of 170 runs, could only manage 151 runs at the loss of 9 wickets.

113 -run partnership between Jadaran and Atal Afghanistan did not have a good start. Pakistan won the toss and selected the first bowling and till the fourth over, Afghanistan’s score was only 18 runs, including the wicket of Rahmanullah Gurbaz. Haris Rauf’s innings makes the score respectable When the Pakistan team was on the verge of being reduced to 111/9, Haris Rauf scored an unbeaten 34 off 16 balls and took the score above 150. However, his innings could not take the team even to win and Pakistan lost by 18 runs.
