Very few people know that this depth in their music has come from the struggles of their life. His story is no less than a film script, in which the son of a famous father ran away from home to make his identity. This anecdote is related to Lucky Ali’s youth, about which music composer Rajesh Roshan was told in an interview. (Photo courtesy: Instagram@officialluckyali)
Actually, Lucky Ali’s father, legend actor Mahmood, wanted Lucky to work in films like him. But Lucky did not accept this. He did not want to live under any kind of pressure and wanted to live his life on his own terms. (Photo courtesy: Instagram@officialluckyali)
When Mahmud’s pressure increased, Lucky took a big decision. One day he ran away from home without telling anyone. At that time neither they had money nor any concrete plan. He turned to America and there he did many small things. He worked on a horse form, cleaned carpets, even worked as small bicycle repair. (Photo courtesy: Instagram@officialluckyali)
All these experiences became an important part of his life, which made him mature as an artist. When Lucky Ali left home, his father Mahmood was very upset. He tried hard to find his son, but he did not meet. Disappointed, Mahmood published an open letter in a newspaper. In this letter, he requested his son to return.
