Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who arrived in Kuwait for his first visit, today met two local people who translated two Indian epics Ramayana and Mahabharata into Arabic and published them. The Prime Minister met Abdullah Al Baroun and Abdul Latif Al Nessef in Kuwait. While Abdullah Al Baroun has translated both the Ramayana and the Mahabharata into Arabic, Abdul Latif Naseef has published both the epics. Prime Minister Modi in his monthly radio program ‘Mann Ki Baat’ also talked about these two and the efforts made by them. Mr. Modi’s foreign visits often include presentations and shows related to Indian culture.
