New Delhi. Telangana Police has tightened the grip on 25 big artists and social media celebrities. The police have accused a total of 25 people including Rana Daggubati, Prakash Raj, Vijay Devarakonda and Lakshmi Manchu of promoting illegal betting and gambling apps from their social media accounts. An FIR has been lodged on the complaint of 32 -year -old businessman PM Fanindra Sharma at Miyapur police station in Hyderabad. The complaint was lodged on 19 March.
It has been reported in this complaint that some well -known stars and social media influencers are promoting illegal betting apps, which is against the public gambling law of 1867. Complainant Fanindra Sharma claims that during a conversation with the youth of his community on March 16, he found that many people were impressed to invest money on these betting apps being promoted on social media.
The complainant accused of wrongly affecting
He believes that these famous stars promoted these betting apps and had a wrong impact on the people. According to the complaint, these celebrities allegedly take huge amount to promote various betting platforms, which encourage people to put their hard earned money into gambling. The complainants themselves were about to invest in one of these platforms, but their family warned of potential financial threats, after which they decided to stop.

The police report includes the names of many celebrities and influential persons who are accused of promoting illegal betting apps. These include Rana Daggubati, Prakash Raj, Vijay Devarakonda, Lakshmi Manchu, Pranita, Nidhi Aggarwal, Ananya Nagalla, Siri Hanumanthu, Srimukhi, Varshini Saundarajan.
